Today, social researches are conducted utilizing quantitative or qualitative methods stem from different philosophical paradigms and have serious differences. In spite of the serious controversies between fans of quantitative and qualitative methods, these methods have some common points such as the hierarchy of knowledge. Both of them believe that the recognition of the social world, which is the goal of the humanities, is the scientific authority of the researchers. In contrast, Critical Communicative Methodology (CCM) contrasts the hierarchical system of knowledge and tries to link the social research with individual and social comprehension holding a critical approach. To reach this aim, in studies which are done using CCM, participants involve in a serious communication with researcher and findings are evaluated by an advisory committee. Furthermore, researchers who utilize CCM in their studies employ specific techniques for gathering and processing data which are discussed in this article

Post empirical epistemology was formed in Economics afterward paid attention to the role of the common sense in scientific knowledge. This epistemology has different branches in Economics, including interpretive, critical, and postmodernist one. <br /> This article argues that relation of Islamic Economics with these paradigms can be understood by using Islamic philosophers' principles and then Islamic Economics should be based on these principles as a practical wisdom. Accordingly, studding an economic action should be based on supportive perceptions of it and the practical wisdom of Islamic Economics uses appropriate source for studding each layer of economic action and thus has different interpretive, critical, explanatory and prescriptive dimensions. Nevertheless, it has differences from each of the above approaches. In the practical wisdom of Islamic Economics interpretation is not based on empirical sciences, criticism is not based on common sense, prescribing is based on holy wisdom, and explanation is based on rational intellect

The methodology of Karl Marx, one of the most influential social scientists, has been reconstructed here according to the importance of methodology in the philosophy of science. Today, Marxist method is also widely used by researchers of social phenomena, while a few of them are aware of this. Marx's method in the study of phenomena begins with complicated objective facts and proceeds to the more basic concepts in a downward spiral. Then, the path goes in the opposite direction and ascends from simple categories to composite concepts. This cycle takes place on both paths and at all levels of abstraction dialectically. There are two basic elements in Marx's methodology. One, the production condition in each society and the other, the role of categories in the bourgeois society. Marx's works have been reviewed carefully and methodological points from them have been extracted in order to understand his methodology. Putting Marx's theory under the title of a definite theory that is common in the social sciences is impossible. Here we try to give a systematic categorization of Marx's theories on methodology

Does every paradigms of human/social sciences base on a theory of practical wisdom? Historical analysis of the presence of practical wisdom in philosophical and human/social thought, shows us that everything we call human/social sciences, are theories in the field of practical wisdom. The outcome of different philosophical approaches in the history and in different geographical situations, is a special kind of human/social sciences. This reveals us that different systems of thought can produce different educational and strategic systems. With a glimpse to the works of Aristotle, Nasir al-Din al-Tusi, Auguste Comte, Emile Durkheim, Karl Marx, Max Weber and Hans-Georg Gadamer we show that how they proceed a theory in practical wisdom as it is equal to human/social sciences. Metaphysical foundation of this theory is the division of existence into creatures who are independent of human will and dependent ones

The investigation of the role which Islamic teachings can play in offering concepts, propositions and theoretical models in the realm of social sciences, as well as valid methods for achieving these elements are considered as two striking points, however, neglected in the extensive controversies concerning the status of Islamic doctrine in social sciences. The present paper, seeking to recognize the capacity (the combined strategy of) qualitative content analysis has brought for extracting social analyses of Quran and providing interdisciplinary validity of these analyses has tried to outline and present the components, processes and conditions for the implementation of the pre-mentioned method (and strategy) and the criteria for its validity, authenticity and reliability along with the measures and proceedings which have been adopted in the path to utilizing it in the studying and analysis of Quran's social approaches and making sense and validation of this type of analysis in Islamic sciences. Thus, this research paper besides proposing this method (and strategy) in a practical form, as an interdisciplinary and text-based research in Islamic and social sciences, brings forward a type of executive instruction for the researches which are designed, generated and manipulated in this field, specifically for the inferences of social perspectives of sacred texts of Islam
