-The Meaningful and the Meaningless in Religious Science

Abstract

-
The papar starts with a definition of the term 'Science' by which it is meant the empirical science. Then, the question is formulated whether the notion of the religious science is meaningful or meaningless.
Epistemologically spkeaking, three standpoints are considered, that is,unitarianism, cotradictory pluralism, interactional pluralism. After defining them, with the views of the right scholars explicated, the writer concludes that from the perspectives of epistemological unitarianism and contradicitory pluralism, the notion of religious science would turn out to be meaningless. However, based on the interactional pluralism, the religious science becomes a meaningful term. Finally, the writer concludes that meaningfulness of the science merely paves the ground for its existence, and the creation of such a science yet remains another question.
