Today, social researches are conducted utilizing quantitative or qualitative methods stem from different philosophical paradigms and have serious differences. In spite of the serious controversies between fans of quantitative and qualitative methods, these methods have some common points such as the hierarchy of knowledge. Both of them believe that the recognition of the social world, which is the goal of the humanities, is the scientific authority of the researchers. In contrast, Critical Communicative Methodology (CCM) contrasts the hierarchical system of knowledge and tries to link the social research with individual and social comprehension holding a critical approach. To reach this aim, in studies which are done using CCM, participants involve in a serious communication with researcher and findings are evaluated by an advisory committee. Furthermore, researchers who utilize CCM in their studies employ specific techniques for gathering and processing data which are discussed in this article
