Abstract

Background and Objective: This study examines the possibility of applying theoretical models of physics to the analysis and prediction of criminal behavior. Using concepts such as thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, and chaos theory, attempts have been made to model complex, nonlinear behaviors of criminals in the context of social systems.

Research method: in this study, using qualitative and analytical methods, the behavioral data of criminals within the framework of physical models such as differential equations, complexity theory and entropy of dynamic systems were examined. Computer simulations have also been used to analyze behavioral patterns.

Findings: the results of the study show that some criminal behaviors follow patterns similar to physical systems. Concepts such as" behavioral entropy "and" chaotic attractions " can be effective in describing the fluctuations and changes in the behavior of criminals. In addition, physics-based models are able to predict critical points in the collective behavior of criminals.

Conclusion: the findings of this study suggest that interdisciplinary approaches, especially the application of physical models, can provide new analytical tools to understand the dynamics of criminal behavior. Such modeling can be useful in designing preventive strategies and Crime Control.
