The qualitative, interpretive or descriptive method has been well received by the practitioners of social and behavioral sciences only during the last two decades, despite its historical background. This method has not been launched by a systematic assumption; in other words, testing assumptions is not among its principles. It is not following a test to provide a theory either. The qualitative method makes use of the theories after data acquisition. Figures do not have a particular significance, while the deep analysis and interpretation of the data play a significant role. If conducted thoughtfully, the qualitative research can lead to the development of a theory. Qualitative method deals with various fields, including Psychology, Psychoanalysis, Social Psychology, Sociology and Anthropology. Ethnography, observation in practice, biography, interview and document analysis are known as the common means of data acquisition in qualitative method.
