Even though many attempts have been made in the form of researches, seminars, articles, books, etc., in modern Islamic education, especially in the second half of the last Century, knowledge and system of Islamic education in the realms of educationl knowledge and behavior have not yet found its own place. over the years after the Islamic Revolution, the question why this problem had not been resolved, was one the major concerns of authorities in education in our country (Iran) as a result of which many different views have been presented thus far. The writer in this article seeks to offer the essential necessary conditions for researches on Islamic education and cast light on the neglected stages which have brought about this present critical situation.
