In an attempt to answer the question, "What things represent the most serious challenges to the research activities in Islamic education?", the article, which enumerates the common challenges, seeks to explain and analyse this matter. The cases with which the disucssion is concerned are things like the dispute over the diffrence between the context of discovery and that of judgement, quantification or qualification, principiality of essence or nominalism, conceptual or explanatory procedures as well as the attention shown to the findings and references.
